Ana Carcani Rold is one of the founding members, the publisher, and the Editor-in-Chief of The Diplomatic Courier. Ana is also one of the founders of a corporate publishing firm, Medauras Global LLC, which provides business leaders with reports on the political and economic situation of countries around the world, specializing on conflict-prone or conflict-afflicted countries.
In tandem with her publishing work, Ana teaches Political Science at Northeastern University’s School of Professional Studies. At Northeastern, she has also served as a consultant with the Dialogue of Civilizations, where she has led programs in Cyprus and Egypt. In Washington, DC Ana has worked for a number of organizations including the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP).
Born in Albania, she immigrated to Greece after the collapse of the communist regime in 1991, where she lived for seven years. She received a Masters in International Peace and Conflict Resolution at American University and a Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs at Northeastern University.
Ana is a member of the National Press Club (NPC) and a Visiting Fellow at the Independent Women's Forum (IWF) in Washington, DC.
