CONTRIBUTING EDITOR
Michele Acuto is Doctoral Candidate at the Australian National University (ANU), where he researches global cities at the College of the Asia-Pacific, and where he tutors humanitarianism and international relations. He is also Visiting Fellow at the National University of Singapore’s Global Cities Cluster, and is affiliated with the Faculty of Business & Government at the University of Canberra, where he teaches sociology. He has worked for several years as independent consultant on diamond trade and the Kimberley Process, as well as served as external advisor to the International Campaign to Ban Landmines. He was also visiting researcher at the Institute of European Affairs in Dublin, and he holds a BA in International and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Genoa, a postgraduate specialization in Peace and Conflict Studies from the International Peace Research Institute (PRIO, Oslo), a Master of International Affairs and a Master of Diplomacy from the ANU.
