ADVISORY BOARD
Elizabeth Dial Pinkerton serves as a Senior Advisory Board Member for the Diplomatic Courier. Pinkerton is a Partner at Baker | Pinkerton LLC, a government affairs firm with a presence in Washington, DC and New York.
Prior to co-founding Baker Pinkerton, she served as Special Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs under President George W. Bush. As Special Assistant to the President, Pinkerton served as the primary liaison with all statewide elected officials and the White House. Before joining the White House Staff, Pinkerton served as Director of Intergovernmental Affairs at the U.S. Department of Commerce under Secretaries Don Evans and Carlos Gutierrez. During her eight years with the Administration, she periodically traveled the U.S. and internationally as an advance representative for President and Mrs. Bush.
Before moving to the Washington, DC area she worked in state government with the Speaker of the South Carolina State Legislature, David H. Wilkins, Governor David M. Beasley and the late Governor Carroll A. Campbell, Jr. Pinkerton has been involved in numerous political campaigns at the state, local and federal level.
